TOMMASO SPAZZINI VILLA

Tommaso Spazzini Villa holds a degree in Art History from La Sapienza University in Rome, and, during his studies there, he also attended courses in drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He also holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. Spazzini Villa’s work has been exhibited in galleries across London, Paris, Milan, Istanbul, Hong Kong, and Basel. He has been a finalist for the 17th Cairo Prize, the Prix Bob Valle du livre d’artiste, and twice for the Talent Prize. He was named in Exibart’s “222 Emerging Artists” list in 2024, as well as in Talent Prize’s “100 Names to Remember” guide in 2022. Spazzini Villa’s works are featured in numerous public and private collections, including the Golinelli Foundation in Bologna, the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust of Italy) in Milan, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which acquired a piece from his Ombre series in 2019. Spazzini Villa lives and works in Rome, Italy.
