PARIDE FERRANTE

1990

Born in Cagliari, Italy

Paride Ferrante graduated in aerospace engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and worked for several years in Earth observation from Space before turning to an independent practice in the visual arts. His encounter with the artist Remo Salvadori in 2023 marked a decisive turning point in his artistic development. “It took me ten years to realize that Space isn't technological – it’s Byzantine,” Ferrante has said, reflecting on the conceptual shift that informed his subsequent work. Following his first major solo exhibition in 2025, presented across Palazzo Costantino and Palazzo Di Napoli in Palermo, Ferrante’s work entered the collection of RISO, Museum of Contemporary Art of Sicily. In 2026, he participated in a group project at Dynamo Camp in Tuscany. From October 1, 2026 through June 27, 2027, three works conceived by Ferrante during the artist’s residency in Pantelleria will be on view by appointment only at TOTAH Pantelleria.
